> travel insurance: it is mandatory your travel insurance covers: adequate personal accident, medical, evacuation and repatriation expenses, as well as cancellation, curtailment, loss of effects and all other expenses that might arise as a result of loss, damage, injury, delay or inconvenience occurring with you. We also request that our campers, together with their personal property including baggage, shall be at all times insurance covered at their own responsibility. Rio Sports Tour suggests you to contact with World Nomads to assure such protections before you travel.

>passport, visa and vaccinations: Rio Sports Tour is not responsible for our campers passports with regular validation date, to obtain visa travel permission to Brazil and to comply with health and sanitation demands, including inoculations and preventative medicines if required prior or during the trip. On the other hand; our staff can support you by indicating where to get those information for your trip. Links to contact the Consulate General of Brazil in your country: CAN, USA, UK.

> air fare: Rio Sports Tour will be pleased to recommend  travel agencies from our network in order to provide you better deals if requested to. That does not mean you cannot buy your ticket through any other travel agent in your country or over the internet. For us, the most important at the end is you.

> specific materials: you must bring your own sport equipment (such as, for instance, board, gi, shorts, etc). Rio Sports Tour has pro materials for sale in case you don’t bring yours. Email us asking for quotation anytime.

> quotations and lodging: all packages include room, breakfast, tours and transportation expenses. To match every group profile we offer different types of quotations and lodging options. Contact us for a customized package proposal for either groups or for a 1-to-1 tour

> surcharges: Rio Sports Tour’s prices and packages showed on this website are based on a recently updated currency conversion rate between Brazil currency and US dollar. Nevertheless, trip costs might change due some of the following items: government action, fluctuations in currency exchange rates, transportation costs, including the cost extra hours, overflying charges, airport charges and variation in scheduled air fares (when air fare is included). Rio Sports Tour as a company will not absorb any increase in booking price should a surcharge becomes necessary. Our clients will have to pay necessary surcharges, which will be duly informed in advance. Also our clients may cancel the booking within 7 days notification of the surcharge for refund. No surcharge will be imposed within 30 days of departure.

.: methods: We work with credit cards (Visa, Amex, MasterCard) or wire transfer. Credit card charge will be processed in the Brazilian real (BRL) equivalent since Rio Sports Tour’s agents company and bank are based in Brazil. We suggest you to consult your credit card company/bank to get specific informations about conversion fees charge.

.: terms: If you are booking more than 60 days before your trip begins, a 20% deposit is required. If you are booking less than 60 days before your trip begins, the full amount is required.
